Our aim
Scam awareness matters to everyone, including people who use screen readers, magnification, keyboards instead of a mouse, or who simply find small text hard to read. We want every guide and checklist on Evergreen Study to be usable by as many people as possible.
What we have done
- Each page has one main heading and a logical order of section headings, so screen reader users can move around easily.
- Text and background colours are chosen for strong contrast, and warnings are never shown by colour alone.
- Icons are decorative and hidden from assistive technology; the text always carries the meaning.
- All pages can be used with a keyboard, include a "Skip to content" link and show a clear focus outline.
- Pages adjust to small screens and remain usable at 200% zoom.
- Checklists have a print layout with large, clear text and no page decoration.
- There is no autoplaying audio or video and no flashing content.
Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We test with keyboards and common screen readers, but some parts may not yet meet every criterion.
