What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. They let the site remember information between pages or visits. Similar technologies, such as pixels or local storage, are covered by this policy too, and we refer to all of them as cookies.
How we use them
We keep cookies to a minimum. One necessary cookie stores your cookie choice. Optional cookies for statistics and advertising are only placed after you agree, and rejecting them is as easy as accepting. This website does not use local storage or session storage for its own features.
List of cookies
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cc_consent | Evergreen Study | Remembers which cookie categories you allowed | 180 days | Necessary |
| _ga, _ga_<ID> | Distinguish visitors to produce visit statistics | Up to 2 years | Analytics (only with consent) | |
| _gcl_au | Measure the results of adverts for this website | 90 days | Advertising (only with consent) |
Google cookies are only placed if Google tags are active on the site and you have accepted the relevant category. If you reject them, or never make a choice, they are not set.
Legal basis
Necessary cookies are allowed without consent under Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive and Regulation 6 of the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), because they are strictly needed for a service you asked for. All other cookies require your consent.
Changing your mind
Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops optional cookies from being set in future.
Deleting cookies
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings, usually in the privacy or site data section. If you delete cc_consent, the banner will appear again on your next visit.
